A trailblazer since 1992, Surgeon has captivated the UK techno scene with his seminal debut EP and prolific discography. Hailing from Birmingham, he has refined a unique production style, blending industrial murk with funk, swing, and sophisticated dub-space. His influence on the Ostgut/Berghain sound is undeniable, and his impressive remix CV showcases multifaceted skills and collaborations with industry giants. Demonstrating versatility, Surgeon has released music under his name and as part of the boundary-breaking Transcendence Orchestra project and in March 2023, he unveiled his first full-length album in five years on Tresor Records. Hailed by Fact magazine as "arguably the finest techno DJ in the world," Surgeon's prowess spans across Europe, America, and Japan. He has played at key clubs and festivals, pioneered Birmingham's House of God, held a residency at Tresor Berlin, and performed as half of the British Murder Boys duo and in improvised live sets.

As a skilled selector and inventive DJ, Surgeon utilises techno as his artistic medium, incorporating contemporary bass music and Rephlex-esque electronica in his captivating performances.
