La La, the enigmatic alter-ego of Lauren Andrew, emerged from Glasgow's thriving scene as a skilled DJ and curator. Procuring her first set of decks from Rubadub, she quickly captivated audiences, securing a longstanding residency at Edinburgh's FLY Club where she honed her craft and taste in dance music. After a series of events at the legendary Sub Club, hosting luminaries like Nicolas Jaar and Detroit Swindle, her understanding of dance music history grew deeper and it shone during her 2019 Boiler Room debut where she mixed classic and contemporary house seamlessly to great acclaim. Her distinctive sound resonated throughout Scotland, with appearances at Sub Club, Tunnels Aberdeen, and FLY Open Air festival. Now a rising star, Lauren secured a weekly show at RINSE FM and bookings at prominent venues like Circoloco, HI Ibiza, Amnesia, Cocorico, Fabric, Motion, and Parklife and, in the meantime, she launched Brand New, a label exclusively showcasing Scottish talent, and plans to reveal its sister label, Sound As. La La's future shines brightly as she continues to enchant audiences with her masterful sonic tapestries.
