Chris Liebing is a well-known figure in modern electronic music, recognised not only for his friendly demeanour and beaming smile, but also for a passionate dedication to his craft, which has made him synonymous with techno. As a pioneer of the genre, Liebing has been active worldwide since the 1990s in an effort to create a platform for other artists, while extending his reach beyond DJ sets with his long-running CLR imprint, affiliated podcast and club nights. For the past few years, Liebing saw his musical direction grow to encompass some of his earliest influences, including 80s electronica, psychedelic melodies, and an unmistakeable seam of alternative music.
