Catarina Silva

Catarina Silva blends techno, electro, and breaks to create a diverse and whimsical sound. Her unique selection features everything from asymmetric rhythms and irregular percussion to more conventional melodies that harmonise seamlessly. While she has spent countless years on the dancefloor, her career as a DJ has been relatively short. Nevertheless, she has made a name for herself in the Portuguese scene with performances at clubs like Gare, Indústria, and Plano B. In addition to her work as a DJ, Catarina is also the co-founder of Dark Sessions, a collective that promotes local talent and aims to bring techno to the city of Braga. She is also a member of Alínea A, a non-profit cultural association that provides a platform for the promotion of artistic creation and cultural development.
