Before techno had a name, Jeff Mills was already secretly building it. In the 80s, The Wizard was spinning to a city that didn’t yet have the vocabulary for what it was hearing. He ran Underground Resistance with Mad Mike Banks before leaving the uncompromising group in 1991. Axis Records was next, and then the world.

His Tokyo Liquid Room, recorded in October 1995, remains one of the greatest DJ sets ever. During its 30th anniversary, Jeff toured London, Tokyo, Paris, Detroit with the show and is still running into 2026.
