Ellen Allien has been at the centre of Berlin’s electronic scene since the early nineties, when she held residencies at Tresor and E-Werk before most of today’s DJs were old enough to go out. BPitch, established by Ellen in 1999, launched the careers of Modeselektor, Paul Kalkbrenner and Apparat, and her party “We Are Not Alone” is still running at RSO after many years.

SALOME arrived from Tbilisi and found her tribe at Herrensauna, where her acid-laced, whiplash techno turned her into one of Berlin’s most talked-about residents. Fast, ferocious and unpredictable.

Together they represent the city at two very different points in its musical history.
